Spring Break!

One of the perks of being married to a college professor is Spring Break...which is why we have indulged our children and are visiting what very well may be their favorite person...GRANNA! oh and Ben too! This means that I won't be able to upload any pictures until I return home...sorry!

I did however want to share with y'all a fantastic movie we saw recently...

It's a foreign film, directed by Mira Nair who also directed Monsoon Wedding, another favorite of mine! Although this is considered a foreign film, much of it takes place in the United States and English is primarily spoken. We are huge fans of Netflix, which makes it possible for us to watch great movies like this one! I highly recommend it to those of you who enjoy these types of movies.

Leave me a comment if you've seen it or if you have another great movie to recommend!

no great movies to recommend here unless of course you count mary poppins, 101 dalmations, or mickey mouse...as you can tell, we aren't watching a lot of movies lately!

if you liked the namesake, then try the dry-humored, wes anderson film dharjeeling limited for more indian flavor.

for other great foreign films to put on your netflix check out: the lives of others, the edukators, the star maker, cinema paradiso, il postino, a very long engagement, the motorcycle diaries and good bye lenin.
