Mama

This morning I heard my girl, saying to no one in particular...

"I want to grow up to be a Mama."

My heart swelled with pride and I thought to myself "maybe I am doing a good job, maybe I am a positive Mommy role-model..." How quickly I fell from my delusional pedestal when I asked her why she wanted to be a Mama - she replied...

"because then I can tell people what to do."

I love it! Great role model you are...I would hate to hear what my kids had to say!

I always wanted to be a Grandpa because they could eat tootsie rolls after we went to bed...

That is why I wanted to be a mama too, but too bad my kids ended up being the ones telling me what to do! That lou sure is sweet and I think you are a good mama too!

Keep your chin up, there is a positive side there somewhere....just squint your eyes and listen sideways....it will come to you. LOL

Remember when you said you wanted a little girl like Miss Leo? Be careful what you ask for.
