Wednesday at the Winslows

I'm starting something new this week. Our wonderful neighborhood has been getting together all summer on Wednesday nights for dinner. The kids have a blast, but I think the parents ultimately enjoy it more! Anyway, I've decided that each week I'm going to highlight the family that hosts the night. This week it is the Winslows & their beautiful children, Kenelm & Hannah, here we go. . .

Little Kenelm has more energy than any kid I've ever met! I have the hardest time taking this cutie's picture because he is always, always on the go! But thanks to my new camera I was able to capture this sweet picture.

I was lucky enough to take little Hannah's picture when she was just a couple of weeks old, it's been fun to watch her quickly grow up!

My new camera & I LOVE IT!

Sad but true. . .

Lightning struck a transformer box on Tuesday, which caused a fire in our sweet little church. The fire started with the a/c unit in the basement & spread up towards the sanctuary. There was a lot of damage from both the fire & smoke. Luckily, no one was hurt. Now we must begin with rebuilding. Fortunately, this church is much more than a building! The folks who worship here are a wonderful, committed community. I am proud to call this my church!

Once again we had a great time with our neighbors tonight! Some had more fun than others. . . we kept telling him that it might hurt to slide "Necked" (that's naked for all you non-Southerners)

The kids helped their dad build a sandbox this weekend. They have had more fun playing in this box, if they never play in it again, we've gotten our money's worth!

I've been thinking about this post a lot lately & have decided to forego putting up a picture and instead ask a simple question. . . who are you? It may sound rude, and really it isn't meant to be at all. After all, it's my decision to post a picture everyday about our family, to invite the world into the goings on of the Lingenfelters, right? But, if you haven't noticed I have a StatCounter on this blog, and I can check & get a pretty good record of who is looking at our blog, which I do everyday, religiously, I'm obsessed! It's so cool to see that Candice checked us out, or that Carolyn in WA checked in on her nephew & niece. I know that Granna & Aunt Jamie look everyday, but I'm not sure about Daddy Jim or Katherine. . .
